SKODA OCTAVIA WRC EVO 2

*Ex-works car driven by Armin Schwarz and Keneth Eriksson in 8 wrc events

*FIA Gold Passport confirming all WRC participations

* Nice original car in very good overall condition

2001 driven by Armin Schwarz in Portugal, Argentina, Acropolis, Finland and Great Britain

2002 driven by Kenneth Eriksson in Swedish, Cyprus and Safari

Continued documented history since it left the Factory in 2003, including 1 ERC rally win and being succesfully used in Hungary, Germany and Spain with many podium finishes and some overall victories to its credit. In current ownership since 2009.

The car has been subject of a full bare Shell restoration in 2010 by ex Skoda technicians.  After that it has only seen some tarmac rallying (aprox 800km ss), last time used in 2012.

The restoration included a full engine rebuild and turbo restrictor was changed to 38mm, as it was allowed in the championship the car was being used at the time, resulting in near 400 hp power output with lots of torque. The car is really quick and a joy to drive, still a driver’s car!

Despite certainly not being the most succesfull World Rally Car of its time, the Octavia was one of the public’s favourite, thanks to its agresive engine sound and the fact that it was maybe the last of the WRC’s that liked to be driven sideways (particulary in the likes of Armin Schwarz!) .

WRC cars of that era are now very sought after, specially ex Works cars with documented WRC history like this one. This car would make a nice adition to any rally car collection or also to occasionally enjoy in demostrations or legend type events where for sure it would be one of the crowd favourites while rewarding a super driving experience to the fortunate driver.

Accompaining the car there are some spares including wheels, suspension parts, gravel dampers, sensors, etc.
